THE CRAFTSMAN

HAVE YOU EVER VISITED THE GAMBLE HOUSE in PASADENA?
 
Last weekend we had a chance to re-connect with the artistry and workmanship of this fine
1908 structure designed by Charles
and Henry Greene. For any of you architecture fans who have not taken this opportunity,
we strongly encourage you to treat yourself and visit this lovely Southern California landmark.   


With this in mind, it is easy to understand why few architectural genres are more popular in
California culture than this turn-of-the-century style. The Craftsman Style, as it is more commonly
known, with its elegant yet simplified styling was an early influence of today's modern design aesthetic.  



The Craftsman Theater by Innovative Theatres is meticulously designed and produced in a wide variety
of wood finishes to capture the essence of this outstanding vintage style. Design elements of the
Craftsman theater include peg-and mortise styled jointery accenting the simple detailing of the
theater proscenium, base and crown.  Vintage patterned and textured fabrics add warmth and historical
flair to the room's acoustical wall panels while rich carpeting and custom leather cinema lougers
finish out the Craftsman interior.
As is the case with all Classic Editions, the Craftsman Theater is designed, built and finished to
your specifications and installed in your home by Innovative Theatres' trained technicians.
